We know this last year has not been easy. For some, COVID-19 may have disrupted the observance of a major life moment. The Blue Moon is here for you. We are capable of hosting weddings, burials at sea, graduations and providing space for an intimate gathering. We are flexible and dedicated to helping you execute your vision and make an unforgettable experience.
Captain Chris had some family in town for his daughters christening. They agreed to join him on a quick trip out to sea to catch some sun. Little did they know, there were some friends waiting to play out there!
It has been a summer to remember, as Los Angeles reopened from COVID 19 lock downs and the Blue Moon was there for some memorable reunions!
This year the BlueMoon is ready to make a splash! We have hired a new captain and several new crew members, who specialize in working with students in a school setting.
After a long and wet winter we are very excited to get the boat out on the water every day. So far this season we have found schools of migratory common dolphin and an occasional humpback earlier in March.
We are having a contest this year for the best dolphin or whale movie using #bluemooncrusing on instagram. (You can also follow us @aboard_the_bluemoon).

Today we packed up and took the Blue Moon out to Catalina for a diving adventure!
The water at Emerald Bay didn't disappoint:
Emerald Bay's water is amazingly colored.
We had a great first dive, following some geribaldis around the corner.
